  • I just attended the Banff film Festival at Capitol Theatre. Great festival. Recently I was carjacked and therefore asked for an escort to my car at 10:40pm which was parked four blocks away. The management at Capitol Theatre said they don't give escorts to people and the police won't respond unless it's an emergency. One kind employee said there is an ambassador system that escorts people to their vehicles. It turned out ambassador service is not available on Tuesday evenings. I took an $11 Uber ride the four blocks to my car. My complaint is Capitol Theater management was not kind nor flexible nor resourceful nor courteous towards one of their patrons. Shame on them.
