  • Based on my experience with another vet last week, I went in today for a second opinion, but thinking I would ultimately have to put my cat, Max, to sleep. I have never been treated in such an empathetic, caring, and supportive manner at a vet office. Joseph did a great job just talking to me, asking me questions, letting me tell stories about Max, and in general keeping the mood light and my mind off of the fact that I might have to put my baby down. Dr. Jen was amazing too, she made sure I understood everything and sat right down on the floor with Max and I to discuss my options. I was glad to hear that, unlike the previous vet we had seen, there were more options outside of two extremes; $2,000+ hospitalization or euthanasia. I know that the treatment plan we decided on isn't a guarantee but I am glad that Dr. Jenn saw that Max still had hope and most of all that she gave me options. I know that she will also help guide me should the time come to end Max's life in a humane manner. Best vet experience ever in the last 12 years that I've been a pet owner.
