Seemed almost like a Bate and Switch.... I will try to make this short.
I visited this location twice... 1st time we were just browsing trying to find the best deal and 2nd time we found a Sonata we really liked and went back to sign papers for it.
Well... we pulled up and I did not see my car anywhere. We thought maybe they pulled it to the back and are getting it cleaned up now instead of waiting since we had the appointment to go over numbers and sign papers if everything looked right.
After going back and forth a few times, the sales lady was going to talk with her manager to get the paperwork ready to sign. We told her we wanted to see the car to look while we wait but we didn't see it anywhere and she said it was right out front and walked us to it... Totally different rims were on the car. I immediatly said something to the sales woman who acted as if she didn't even know they were different. She talked to her manager, who said they would switch the rims back and brought us to the car to show us the correct rims... STILL were not the rims on the car the NIGHT BEFORE. She asked "How do you know?" I then proceeded to show her a picture and 2 cars down were the right rims on the car that I had to show her. The rims were CHEAP and UGLY. It wouldn't have been a big deal if they were nice looking. (I think they did that because they lowered the price of the car and wanted to make up the difference by putting cheaper rims on the Sonata).
After telling her we were not signing until the rims we liked that were originally on the car were back, the manager came out and talked to us about it.
Come to find out, the sales lady admitted to knowing the rims were switched and changed the timeline of when she found out 3 times... first it was when she got in, then an hr before we got there then right before we got there. Either way, she did NOT tell us before trying to get us to sign papers.
We told the manager and sales lady we didnt feel comfortable signing prior to the rims being placed back on the car. The manager ended up STORMING off mad from us because we wouldnt sign the papers right then and there. He wanted sign papers with the cheap rims and come back 2 days later so they could switch the rims back....
The story changed too many times from both the sales lady and from the manager for us to feel comfortable moving forward with the deal. 1st they had no idea what happened because it wasnt approved in the system, then a customer wanted different rims on the car (even though we left at closing the night before)...Then to storm off from a customer for not signing paperwork on a car that is different then they agreed to buy is sketchy. I would never recommend this dealership after that. No matter what...if you go back to sign paperwork on a vehicle another day from looking at it, I recommend checking it out again before signing. We learned our lesson there.
