| - Located at Town Square on the back side of H&M. Since I normally don't go on the back side of that building, I didn't even know that Stoney's even existed. I had seen advertisements for it at AMC theater, but actually had to google to find the place! I think if you're a newbie and never been to this place, it might be hard to find. More signs indicating where they're exactly located would be helpful.
I've been here twice now on Thursday nights only as it's Ladies night. Cover is $5 for ladies and $10 for men.
Pros:
1. Drinks are cheap for ladies on Ladies night. $1 for beer, wine and wells. The two times I've been there, I've spent no more then $5 for the whole night on drinks and actually was drunk when I left. Maybe I'm a light-weight, but for me I'm all about savings and you can't beat $1 Vodka and Tequila drinks.
2. Food is delicious, which is provided by Pot Liquor. They offer an Moinks, Smoked Wings, Chili, Pork rinds, Pork on a Fork, Hot Link, Chicken Salad Hoagie, and Coleslaw. Prices range from $6 to $8 each. I've personally tried the chili. It's good, but for me it is just way too much meat and not enough beans. Taste wise the chili is delicious. I've also had the Smoked wings. As a fan of wings, these were not the best, but not the worst ones I've had. The wings themselves were a bit dry, but I did however really love the wing sauce. Also tried the Moinks, which are bacon wrapped meatballs. They're so amazing!!
3. Music. Most of the music of course is Country, but they do mix in other music as well.
4. Line Dance lessons offered at 7:30 and 8:30 pm.
5. Staff are super friendly, especially our waitress. Both nights that I've been there have been super packed and yet our waitress came around often to check to see if we needed anything. They always had a smile on their face, easy to talk to, clarified drink orders to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Bouncer was also super friendly. Not sure if it's because of the Holiday season, but he was all smiles and making conversation with people as he checked ID's.
Cons:
My only con for this place is in the Ladies restroom. Most of the doors didn't lock!
I'm not a big Country fan, but I love this place. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. I come here to enjoy music and have a few drinks. Unlike other dance club, I don't feel like I have to dress a certain way. People come here to just have fun. Will definitely come back again!
