  • Initially, I chose to go to "The Italian Cobbler" because of the reviews online here. I further noticed that they repaired garments. I then proceeded to take my garment that needed to be repaired. I verified if they could do the repair. They confirmed that they would be able to repair it and that "I won't be even to tell it was repaired". I then gave them to repair my garment. My brand new garment that had a small imperfection was ruined by their repair. The stitching was well off, and their "magic" was more like a nightmare. The repair was very noticeable. They didn't even care to show me the repair they did (probably because they knew they messed it up), I had to do all the inspecting myself. I then found "Gold Star Tailoring" in Westlake. Emma, the wife in this husband -wife business also agreed that the repair done initially by " The Italian Cobbler" was not correctly done, and that she would repair it. She charged the same amount to fix it, that "The Italian Cobbler" charged me to ruin it. "Gold Star Tailoring" had the same turn around time, and the repair was flawless. I will no longer give any business to "The Italian Cobbler". Avoid this company unless you want you're items haphazardly done and/or ruined.
