| - Your token Chinese grocery store in Cleveland. It's better than none, but not impressive compared to the Lion Markets, Ranch 99's, and Super H Marts (okay, that last chain is Korean) you'd find in bigger cities. Cleanliness is average for a Chinese market, with the expected bad smells in areas of the store.
This place has decent prices and decent selection. Kudos to their Asian vegetable section (gai lan, yu choy, bok choy), as I don't know where they find Chinese farmers nearby to grow this stuff. They also have a nice bakery section with even nicer discounts later in the day, and a good selection of imported Asian drinks (Ramune, winter melon tea, several brands of sweet Aloe drink). Also check out the homemade soy milk and tea eggs. I cannot comment on the meat here as I tend to avoid Chinese grocery meat, instead favoring my health.
Of note, the store has a smaller room stocked with food and miscellaneous things (noodles, Asian shampoo, and utensils to name a few), and beyond that room is a giant warehouse-like area with tons of Asian "stuff": costumes, straw hats, pots and pans. That's a lot of stuff for one store!
Overall, this place will suffice for most of your Asian food requirements. If you are looking for more specialized ingredients and better selection--for instance Japanese ingredients, you may want to check out Asia Food Co which is a few blocks away.
