  • Unfortunately, I've only been to Velvet Tango once, but it blew me away! I had heard about it and in my mind it was this over the top, high end swanky bar where everyone was too cool for school. The one night I was there, it was really a quiet, chill, bar. Nothing pretentious at all. I'm much more of a beer & wine kind of gal, but the mixed drinks here were outrageously good. Forget about sugary pink cosmos and margaritas made from a mix - this place is a total throw back to the days of a real cocktail. We went there after a night at the orchestra - the perfect end to a classy, evening :) Even though the drinks are pricey they are absolutely worth it. I'd definitely consider this the best bar in town - if you're looking for good drinks but not if you're looking to get hammered and stupid. It's the kind of place you want to talk about but wish not many people knew about!
