This is a restaurant? The Grapevine kind of like a mullet, if you shaved the front of your head. There's no business in the front, and the party is definitely in the back.
Show up on a Wednesday and you'd think the place was closed, until you walk to the back bar and discover a big crowd of regulars and quite a few weirdos from out of town (that'd be us) rocking out with some karaoke. There's some serious talent in the room, but don't be intimidated if your voice is as bad as mine. It's not about the vocals, it's all about the performance.
I saw a girl with no talent at all...I mean, she should be ashamed of herself (Katie I'm talking to you)...but she brought the house down with her antics on the mic. I personally subscribe to the theory that it's better that people assume you suck at karaoke than if you open your mouth and remove all doubt, but good for you, Katie.
Come out, have a few beers, and enjoy the show.
