  • My kids see Darren West for acne. All in all he's good. The office staff on the other hand, leaves little to be desired. They are very incompetent. For the last two years at least we have an insurance that does not require a copay and to this day they keep asking my kids to pay the copay when they go for an office visit. I have to call each time to ask them to stop asking my kids for money! It says it all on the insurance card, which they have a copy of, but they still ask them EVERY TIME! Pay attention people!! The wait time is also a bit much. I am the kind of person that when I schedule an appointment I expect to be taken at the time of my appointment, my time is just as valuable as theirs. Time and time again we have to wait 20+ minutes over the appointment time to be seen. This is a dermatologist, not an internist where I would be more compassionate as there might be an emergency, but even with my internist I am taken ON TIME! Hopefully soon my kids will out grow their acne issues, but I would hesitate to continue seeing this practice for anything else.
