The Broadview hotel has breathed new life into this east end block, and even a devoted westside-ee like me can admit it's something special.
I visited the main restaurant for dinner, and it lived up to the hype. I started with a fernet negroni. It sounds strange, but it's two of my favourite things mixed so I had to go for it. Luckily, it was delicious. After cocktail o'clock, my table shared a few of the smaller plates and they were all delicious. The vegetarian tagliatelle was a standout.
The bar and the roof are both cute, cute, cute, too. I look forward to returning for a casual night of fernet negronis and sun-soaked giggles.
