I purchased IPL on Groupon as I was looking to remove sun damage on my forearms. I have had at least 5 IPLs on my face with no issues over the years. The IPL seemed to go well, but I started to notice track marks of the laser all over my arm within 48 hours. I sent pictures to her and she reassured me this was normal and it looked "perfect" It looked different than IPL. A week later I sent more pictures convinced I was burned and I was going to have scarring, she again said to continue using my mineral based sunscreen and keep it lubricated. I continued to send pictures asking to speak with the medical director Dr. Mindell she said she sent pictures to him and said it looked ok. I continued to send pictures and ask to see the physician she said he was on a book tour and the following week he was out of town. As the arms healed I am left with scarred stripes the width of the laser on my forearm. She refunded the cost of the laser and sent me some skin brightener, Vitamin CE Ferulic, Sublock and Avene Cicalfate. By the time I received this it was nearly a month after the procedure and my arms were scarred and healed. i used all of the product as directed and it didn't really do anything I am left with a discolored scarred forearm making it uncomfortable to wear short sleeves. I WOULD NOT recommend Lynette, thank goodness this scarring is on my arm and not my face. She should have intervened and done something within 48 hours when I sent the initial pictures instead she chose to keep telling me its okay and brush me off. There are many choices out there when looking for IPL, I hope this review prevents someone from a similar experience!
