| - I'll start out off with the only good thing about this salon & spa- the staff are kind and personable. I've been to this salon once and had a good experience but my experiences from yesterday have made me a non-believer in this salon. In terms of results yesterday, my nails looked horrible. I got the shellac manicure and classic pedicure via a groupon package, and I would rather pay double and have my nails look like I just had them done versus the somewhat disastrous resulting look I left that salon with. I asked for a classic french pedicure and the nail technician used the wrong undertone, I kept quiet and allowed her to finish one toe where she sloppily attempted to make the tip of the nail. It look atrocious. I asked her why she selected that color, and her colleague informed her that it should be a clear color used below the tip. I was shocked that she had received certification as a nail technician. I then proceeded to ask her to simply paint on a solid color. She was able to do that, but did not properly clean or mold my nails at all. It took about an hour and 20 minutes to complete this task that usually takes around 30 minutes at nail shops I usually go to. Also, my big toe was not painted clearly, but I did not ask her to redo it because it had taken so long already. In terms of the shellac nails, she again was unable to do this correctly. 2 of my nails look about 3 times thicker than the other nails. Also, she did not paint my nails all the way back, so it appears as though my nails have outgrown the manicure. The only reason I tipped was because the nail technician was so pleasant and kind, but never will I step foot into this salon. My youngest sister had similar experiences where she told me they did not know how to do a french manicure. The nail technicians here need training, immediately! I will have to get my toenails redone before my trip, what a waste of money.
