  • The Coffee Shop is my favorite café in Gilbert, near the San Tan Mall. They were featured on The Food Network Channel and won "The Cupcake Wars" TV contest. The cupcakes are to die for and well worth the visit. The menu is constantly changing along with the other breakfast and lunch menu items. The most unique aspect to The Coffee Shop is the location in Agritopia, a farming community, situated next door to the most famous Gilbert, AZ restaurant, Joe's Farm Grill. Joe's is ALWAYS PACKED FULL and it's hard to get a decent outdoor table. All of their menu items are farm fresh and the produce is picked right next to the restaurant. Talk about organic! It's an amazing experience to eat outdoors, next to the view of the farm where the food is grown. After your meal, go next door to The Coffee Shop for dessert. The only issue I have with The Coffee Shop is that it should be bigger inside with more tables. There are some outdoor café tables, but of course it's just too hot in AZ in the summer to eat outdoors! It's always a surprise and a pleasure dining out. Here is a great Gilbert landmark restaurant to take visiting out of state friends to eat!
