  • I really want to love this place I do. I love the decor, the proximity to everything in downtown and the conviene of gold spike. But when we entered the room it reached of bleach or whatever cleaner they used on the floor. Second in the closet we food animal feces, urine, and a kibble. I understand and don't mind that these rooms are rented out to people with pets but the cleanliness of the rooms should be above and beyond especially if there was a pet staying there before. We told the girl at the front desk but said there was no housekeeping until the next day to help us out. To let her know once we wake up so house keeping could come and take care of it. Around 8:30am we hear banging on the door from housekeeping even though we have the do not disturb sign out. This was very annoying as we had gone out the night before and were trying to sleep. I let her know we would reach out to her later on when we were awake. Lastly the walls are paper thin, we could hear the guest above us walking around all morning! This is definitely more of a crash pad, not for relaxing unless it's a weekday.
