| - Came here with my bestie on our girls' trip to Vegas a couple of weeks ago. The bouncers and the staff as we entered were all very friendly. I'm somewhat of a feminist, so it was a nice change of pace to see a big, buff cocktail WAITER patiently waiting on female guests and trying to earn those tips for a change! Our waiter was very sweet. We ordered two red-bull and vodkas which were WAY overpriced, so we only ordered one each for the night. Waiting for the show to begin is a show in itself. It was interesting watching them put up profiles of all of the dancers before the show and doing a mini video on how famous the Chippendales institution has become. I loved seeing all of the bachelorette and birthday parties showing up and getting crazy, so cute! We were in a back row with a little table which was fine, but it was FREEZING COLD in this place. I thought this place would be more like a sophisticated lounge considering it's national recognition. But, it was more like a small scale theater of Manhattan. Very small space. The chairs were movable reception style chairs, definitely not what I was expecting, kind of "chinsy". I was a mix between excited, uncomfortable, awkward, and hysterical laughing during the show. I did not expect the show to be so choreographed, and I couldn't take a lot of the dancing or 'scenes' seriously. Kind of cheesy. Basically, each scene the dancers do is supposed to be some element of the "female fantasy" I guess. First they come out as cops, then firefighters, then military members, then cowboys, then gangsters, etc. The first few scenes were crazy because the men actually rip off their wife beaters and underwear (while covering their junk of course.) But after a while...come on...it gets old. After the fourteenth time of you guys ripping off your undies I'm no longer surprised. I was sooooo embarrassed for the poor girls who got selected to go on stage! Mortifying! They had to give lap dances, were put into sex positions, put condoms on with their mouths, I felt like everyone in the audience was embarrassed for these women. Took a few photos, one professional one, and bounced. My best friend and I both felt like it was OK, but wouldn't go again. One of those cheesy things you do on a girls' trip. We were moved to the first row because there was a lot of extra space which was nice. Only because the bouncers allow people to walk around back and forth, come in late, try to find friends and for the first half of the show, our views were blocked and limited because of this. Needs to be a more effective way of fixing this. I looked back into the audience a lot, I saw a lot of women going crazy, but also a lot of women who looked bored, tired, and wanted to get out of there.
Had something so much better for me waiting at home :-)
