| - Forgot to post a review. Bought a new french door fridge back in May for our new house. Upon delivery, the delivery guys asked if the water was turned off and I said yes, which I thought was in the garage, the main water line. The guy goes to the fridge space and says, nope, the line has water coming out of it, not gushing, but we cannot install the fridge for you. I'm sorry, what? He explains they cannot install the fridge if the water is not off, which I told him I just turned it off in the garage so maybe, just maybe there was a bit of water remaining in the line dripping out possibly? Nope, sorry ma'am, we can just put it in it's place. I get on the phone w/ my BF who was at his old house packing up and on his way over and upon him arriving, they tell him the same thing. We literally turned off three water lines and the guy still refused to install the fridge and hook it up. Then, when they got the fridge in the house and moved it towards it's spot, they stopped and said it wouldn't fit. I told him we had measured the space and it would, and he said in a snotty way, Well did you measure the space by the counters? Um no asshole, I didn't, sorry, but there is room to turn the thing and get the fridge in there! The other guy, seeing my frustration puts a kitchen towel on the front so as to not scratch it, and he manuevered it to get it in there, but this tall lanky guy had no idea what he was doing and did not seem to want to attempt to do it either. I understand policy of not installing appliances if electricity or water is not turned off for safety reasons, but they never advised us of this at the store upon purchase. I did not realize the shutoff was NOT in the wall where the fridge goes, so maybe that was my fault, but he didn't have to be a jackass about the whole thing. My BF ended up asking if they could walk him through the hookup process and he'll do it himself so that's what happened. I don't know why I paid for delivery and install if they were not allowed to do it, nor wanted to. It was like the one guy had better things to do that day. I have had good luck with RCWilley in the past for other purchases, but this left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure I'm willing to get my things delivered for their hassle anymore. Sorry, don't remember the delivery guys names. On a good note, once you pay delivery, anything else you buy that same year is free delivery because you've paid it once.....if they will install it, great concept.
