Inexpensive, but a great bang for your buck. It takes a bit of elbow grease but I found it more pleasing to look at my BMW 428i after having cleaned it myself than paying someone 20 bucks to do it and being dissatisfied with dirty spots.
Pro: Cheap! I felt like I drove away with a detailed car for less than $5.
Easy to use, just use the buttons in order and the handle when it starts spitting out water/soap automatically.
Even the brushes are really soft and probably add way less swirls than wiping with a 50-time washed rag at any other car wash.
Cons: You get a bit wet inevitably so don't do it right before a business meeting
No credit card, cash only. $10 bills and smaller
You need to bring your own drying towels or pay the machine $3 for one.
Tips:
*Read the instructions!
*Have some sort of Top down plan.
*Have quarters handy towards the end of the cycle to add 45 s for each. Technically, refilling w a quarter at a time is cheaper than buying 4 min in bulk for $1.50 but we're talking cents here.
*Have at least 3 clean microfiber towels! I got mine for costco for I think what it comes down to as a buck a piece. Then wash 'em.
*The low pressure rinse automatically turns on, but get ready before you press that trigger because that high pressure is HIGH PRESSURE.
*Have some windex and some detailing liquid for trouble spots when you're drying and finishing
Then after 20 m, you have a detailed car. or 10m and just a clean car...all for less than $5.
I don't think I'll be going to any other car washes anymore. After trying to hit hours they're open, paying $20 to wait longer for someone to do it, and then disappointed they missed spots, this wash seems like the perfect option for people that like their cars. I can pretty much do this as often as I want because it's so inexpensive. Never have a dirty car again without breaking the bank!
