Westgate is a pretty old hotel that changed hand a few times since they were once Las Vegas Hilton hotel, then to LVH for a while. The name of the monorail station had to be changed twice since it was built, and the same cannot be said about the hotel quality though. They do have a prime location for hotels if you are in town for an event at LVCC. It was just a short walk to the center, and exhibitors have an even quicker walkway there.
It was good when parking was free, but now that they are paid, which was a hassle even for hotel guests. In addition, stuff in the rooms cost additional from water to coffee, and then Wi-Fi, seriously? Everything just feel so nickel and dime now. I suppose this is how they think they will turn this place back to a profitable business. Staffs all seem a bit depressing, they all got that "I hate my job" look on their face.
