  • Do you enjoy being a victim of the United State's appalling excuse for public transportation infrastructure? Do you like that "developing country" feeling? Come on down to this sorry excuse for a transportation hub. While countries with exotic names like "Spain" and "France" have things called "bus stations" where you can get wait indoors, see your bus announced on a modern LED sign, scarf a halfway decent croissant, enjoy heating and air conditioning, and probably Wi-Fi too, here in Madison, you can melt in the blazing sun or shiver in the cold waiting for your bus to O'Hare airport. Meeting a friend? Be sure to tell them it's not a "bus station", but rather, a giant parking lot with a some signage, along with a gas station and fast food mistake. Make sure to review the photos thoroughly, they are works of art. If you're closer to downtown, which also lacks a bus station, you can pick up the bus near Memorial Union, which at least has decent coffee. Oh, and forget about intra-state trains. Trains are for communists.
