Our less than two year old garage Whirlpool refrigerator started acting strange a couple months ago..sounded like it was trying to turn off but wouldn't. Just came home from a 6 day trip to find the refrigerator section at about 41 degrees...not good. Called Elite the next day and Brandon suggested I check with the mfg. to see if it was still under warranty because they are not certified with the company. Found out it only had a one year warranty and they wanted over $430 for a new 1 year warranty...no way! Anthony, from Elite, came out the next day and quickly diagnosed that the freezer fan's bearings were shot and it needed to be replaced. He left to get the part, came back quickly and installed the new fan. In one hour the freezer is almost back to zero and the fridge is nearing 35 degrees. Nice!! Cost was reasonable, waived the trip charge and got 10% off the balance. Will use them again if any of our appliances fail.
