  • BEWARE...please refer to the Nev. Dental Board's website before seeking treatment from Dr. Jay Selznick. Dr. Selznick is a beautiful human being on the outside. Tragically, he has no conscience and is terribly unethical. I was referred to Selznick by a predatory dentist that lied to me about "implants" treatment I was supposed to receive. Prior to NINETEEN natural teeth being extracted, I asked Dr. Selznick, point blank, if my "implants" were satisfactory in his professional opinion. The "implants" didn't even exist, the predatory dentist had committed fraud, and Dr. Selznick knew it. He could have prevented the unnecessary extraction of NINETEEN of my natural teeth, but instead he chose to lie to me and proceeded to extract my healthy teeth (the Stipulation on the Board's website indicates "no pathology recorded for extraction of Ms. C's teeth"). My teeth were healthy, but Dr. Selznick chose personal financial gain over my dental health, rather than tell me DO NOT PROCEED WITH THE EXTRACTIONS!!! Additionally, Dr. Selznick billed my insurance company for surgical procedures that he did not perform. I originally filed a complaint against the predatory dentist only with the Dental Board, but the Board recommended filing a complaint against Dr. Selznick as well. So I did even though it was a year later. The Board's website will reflect 8 or 9 Stipulations for malpractice against Dr. Selznick, with 7 or 8 patients per Stipulation. It is beyond comprehension how this oral surgeon still has a dental practice in the State of Nevada at all!!! Unless you are bound by insurance restrictions, go elsewhere. At all costs, go elsewhere. Do not suffer like I have suffered because Dr. Selznick will not be honest with you.
