  • We were SOOOOOO excited to come here!!!! I am a big fan of Gordon Ramsay and we decided to splurge here for a special occasion. We couldn't find any available tables when we tried to make a reservation online but decided to walk by and try our luck. It was pretty early (around 540pm) and we had no problem getting a table. We were seated at the top by the balcony which gave us a good view of the restaurant, and the waiter(s) were very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. They wheel this rack around that has different cuts of beef and explain them to you before they take your order. I ordered the famous Beef Wellington and my husband got the American Eye, sides of brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert . Both main dishes were very well cooked. My husband said his steak was the best he'd ever had and the Wellington was tasty and well cooked (aside from the puff pastry getting a big soggy as you ate the dish over time). Oddly enough, for me the best part of the meal was the potato puree (A+ for basic dishes done right, but pricey at $13 per side dish). The sticky toffee pudding was recommended by friends and SO GOOD - extremely rich and decadent, and so delicious! It also came with butter ice cream which weirded me out a lot (despite being well made). All-in-all, an incredibly delightful experience but, in my personal opinion, just really not THAT good at all and not good enough to validate the price tag (a very basic meal without alcohol will run you about $200 excl tip). I do not expect us to visit in the future again, but if I ever come back it'll just be for some sticky toffee pudding dessert. TLDR: Great atmosphere and service but steak/food not worth the price tag.
