  • I've been to Local several times, most recently this evening with two friends. We sat upstairs on the large rooftop deck, where we all enjoyed the basic Local burger. Myself and one guest ordered regular fries, the other chose sweet potato fries with the burger. I previously had their sweet potato fries, but didn't find them as delicious as other restaurants serve. That said, I won't order them again. Although the waitress was quite friendly, she certainly didn't win points for promptness. It took almost 10 minutes from drink order to drinks on the table. Wasn't sure what was going on in that department. Overall, a good restaurant with safe-bet, tasty bar food options that will appeal to almost anyone (although the restaurant mostly draws in the 21-35 m/f crowd).
