  • I will NEVER do business with this company again. I bought a used car and paid cash for it. It was a miserable experience. However, the salesman, Tony Bowler was wonderful to me. I'm a recent widow and have been taken advantage of by this dealership. I was there for hours waiting and waiting to see the finance manager even though I was paying cash. He was s condescending and rude to me. I guess they don't want cash customers. I left the dealership because I was so angry at the way I was treated. The salesman assured me that if I came back I could pay through another finance person and wouldn't get the runaround. I bought the car. Besides a horrible treatment by one of their finance people (remember I paid cash), I had a 3 day period to have my car checked over. I took it to 2 different mechanics and they both SHOWED me the uneven wear on one of my back drums and the scored rotors on my front brakes. I made an appointment to have them fixed by the dealership since it was a safety issue. I arrived promptly at 10. At noon, they informed me that they didn't think I needed brakes...2 hours later. Why did it take 2 hours for them to look at it when I had an appointment? They weren't really busy. A couple of weeks later (yesterday) I got an email saying I need to have my brakes done...this time at my cost! On top of it all, they had me pick up the green sheet that shows it was smogged. I waited for hours at the DMV with that green sheet only to be told that it never passed smog. I had to leave and get it smogged myself and had to wait for several more hours in line to register it. The DMV told me it was illegal for them to sell me a car without smogging and asked if I wanted them to get involved. I called the dealership and I was told to send them the receipt for reimbursement. When I emailed asking where my check was, the manager said he was on vacation and I could pick it up at the dealership. I told him that it was way on the other side of town and gas is expensive and they can send it to me. It's been weeks and still no check. I've now filed a complaint against the dealership with Mini headquarters. I would NOT RECOMMEND doing business with these people. It was such a horrible experience. If you are a single or widowed woman, beware. They will take advantage of you and treat you like you're retarded.
