| - don't even know where to start but I'm gonna try my best to tell everyone what a bad experience I've been having with the new management,It's like I can't even have a peace of mind in my apartment that I'm paying a grip for, everyday I come home I'm expecting some kind of surprise just waiting for me inside or outside of my door. When the new management took over I really was wishing they can do a better job but instead I'm only getting this none stop nightmare almost monthly. Starting from September 2016, there was issue with my rent payment and long story short I got $100 credit in my account and that ended up missing later on with no explanation(feels like they stole it) this apartment complex uses the weakest blind possible and when it's windy outside and I have my window open, the blinds break off from the top like crazy, since I moved in in July 2016, more than half of my blinds broke off and I never reported it cause it never bothered me much and I have a busy schedule so I just left it alone till October 2016 I finally decided to report it and have them fix it so I don't have sunlight blinding my eyes just by sitting in my living room. They came in to take a look at it while I was at work, and I received this call on November 1st from Trixi at the leasing office telling me to call back, I called after work and she was telling me the technician said the damaged was due to my cat and they will have to charge me for all the broken blinds. I found it unbelievable considered the blinds are broken off from the top and my cat is always locked in the cage during the night I'm not watching them and yes they do jump up to the window but it's physically impossible for him to break the blinds from the top, I explained to Trixi and I told her I'm not responsible for it and I'm not gonna pay for those blinds so she told me she will have to check with the technician and the manager and would give me a call back, so I went home and found out they've already put the new blinds up without letting me know. I had a very bad feeling already considered they told me they are charging. 3 days later I still haven't received any follow up so I decided to go in to talk to them in person, this time I got to speak with this older lady I forgot her name but I think she was the manager that gave me the worst attitude. I went in because first of all, I only put in the work order because the wind broke my blinds and I wasn't expecting any payments going out of my pocket, second if they called me and tell me to call back to discuss about this payment, I would assume it's them trying to see if I'm willing to pay or not; with them repairing the blinds without me authorizing the charges is just wrong. So I told the lady they can not charge me the money I didn't authorize, and she just kept on arguing with me calling me negligent to leave the window open and break the blinds. Excuse me for opening the window living on the third floor and needed some air coming in my apartment, we stood there and going back and forth for nearly 15 minutes listening to her bullshit, for one, I was trying to talk rationally and logically to her and she kept interrupting me was already highly unprofessional. I tried to talk some sense out of her and all she could tell me was "we are not responsible for the breakage, you are because of your neglect." Finally I was done cause she was obviously not listening to a word I was saying and I told her go ahead and take the blinds back, they didn't get my permission to fix it with a charge, they got the permission to come in and fix it yes but not with a charge. They should have let me know before they touched it if they were going to charge me. So now I feel like anything I report to them I have to be very careful cause they might just try to rip me off again. week later I went in to report my microwave broke and I spoke with Trixi again, she told me the blinds weren't charged. So here I was getting 2 different stories and had no idea what was the truth. Mid November I reported my microwave and waited for almost 3 weeks, no one showed up so I was out of microwave for nearly 3 weeks. Finally I got some time to call them again and it's the older lady again answering the phone this time she told me she didn't see any work order, so apparently I reported it and they just forgot to key in the system. she then promised me it'll be fixed with in a day or 2. Still no one has stopped by to fix it till 2 weeks later and no one bother to call me to tell me what's going on. I basically went without a microwave for nearly 2 months. Last week January 28th I got a note on my door saying they got a "notification" that my renter's insurance has been cancelled and need me to turn in my paperwork for the proof of my insurance, just another bullshit they are putting on me again. More to the stories but I'm reaching the word limit so good luck to people who try to move in
