This is a relaxing, fun and rewarding experience! It is a great activity to do with your kids or even a date night. They have all the painting supplies you need that are included in the sitting fee. I suggest you call and make an appointment to ensure you get in. Definitely give yourself 2 hours or more. As well have an idea of what you want to accomplish. Starbucks and several restaurants are just steps away. Feel free to bring in drinks and/or snacks.
There are 2 fees involved...
Sitting Fee: Check their website for discount days as well as coupons.
Pottery Fee: This ranges from under $10 to over $40 per item. I've usually stuck with plates for a larger surface for being creative (expect between $15-25 as I recall).
My tips are:
1) Heavy use of the Pen Style Bottles for designs are the key to an excellent result!
2) Paint your base coat before doing any penciling of your designs on the pottery!
3) Use stencils and stamps to make things easier (if there are any that are fitting for you),
4) When in doubt, ask the staff!
