Yoga Flow is located on top of J. Crew on Walnut St. It's clean, open, and feels really "yoga like". The instructor worked the front desk and was really helpful given my complete awkwardness.
So this was my first time trying Yoga (I'm trying lots of new things apparently) and Yoga Flow had a student discount so I took a class for $8. This was a beginner's class and I told the instructor this when signing in. The class was about 20 people but it seemed like they all knew what they were doing, including one guy who was balancing on his head! Unfortunately the instructor moved way too fast. I'm in these crazy positions and I'm expected to look up to see what the instructor is doing? Oh man, it's not always possible! I wish I could have had a little more attention or that we could have gone slower to make sure I was doing things correctly.
I wouldn't try Yoga Flow again but I'm not discounting all yoga. I'll just try a different type of yoga somewhere else. If you've never done yoga before I would suggest finding somewhere else where it's a true beginner's class and the instructor takes his/her time in helping each of the students.
Oh, and all Yoga Flow classes take place in a heated room. I'm guessing it was 90 degrees in there. Not very comfortable.
