The quick and dirty for Cha Me Cha is that the shaved snow ice is solid but the rest is pretty meh.
I brought my cousin here who is a shaved snow ice connoisseur who proclaims that the shaved ice that he had here has dethroned his previous go-to place in the U.S. Saying that though, the experience was soured because of the service. One of the orders was forgotten (hot grass jelly, which was thoroughly average), it took forever to flag someone down, they never bothered setting up our table, and we never received the water we asked for.
Unfortunately, I will probably come back because the snow ice was great. Portions are huge but shaved snow ice lovers have a second belly devoted to shaved snow ice.
And as an FYI, sometimes the toppings are buried underneath the pile of ice.
