  • It pains me to do this since someone I really care about and respect referred me. If not for the fact that he could not get two of my teeth numb I probably wouldn't write the review. Most everything else is small stuff and I could have probably over looked it. I went in for four crowns. The reason I agreed to do all four at one time is that at the previous visit they said they could use the Cerc machine and I would walk out with my permanent teeth in one visit, but since all four were right next to each other I had to do all four at once. So my appointment was at one right after their lunchtime. Around 140 he finally came to numb me. After waiting for the medication to take affect he stopped to do an impression. He then numbed me some more and then it was after two before he actually started working on me. Many more times he put in little bits of the medication because the nerves in two of my teeth were very much alive. The nerve pain was intense. I cannot use the stuff with Epi and have had a lot of work done with the alternative numbing medication and have not had a problem until now. After several attempts of pushing in minor amounts of medication they still were not numb and I finally decided to bear the pain. Towards the end even air on the teeth was nearly unbearable. So the teeth are prepped and he says he's going to do temporaries. I reminded him of our previous conversation and told him I knew it would be a while. He agreed to do the permanent teeth before I left. They do the scan and he spends the next 50 minutes at least designing the teeth. I approve them once he kept messing with it, I approve the again, he kept messing with them, he had me approve them a third time, messed with them for another five minutes and then finally started milling them. Each tooth took five minutes each for the machine to make and then they needed to bake for 15 minutes. He kept trying the individual teeth as they came out and every time he touched one of the two lively ones it was painful. Then he tried all four together and kept messing with them. Finally he went to cement them in and oh my goodness if you do not have a root canal do not let them put cement on your teeth if you're not completely numb I nearly came out of the chair. I left at 5:20. I think if there's a problem in the near future I would rather pay for an entirely new crown than ever go back there. They get three stars because the teeth are good and him and his staff are very caring.
