The day after writing the review I went back to have 2 growlers filled- the newly tapped Irish stout and black saison. While they were being filled I chatted with some guys at the bar. One of the guys was a local farmer who receives the spent grain from Hitchhiker to feed his animal. He joked I should drink more beer from Hitchhiker so he can keep getting the feed.
Well I plan on doing just that as this will be my new go to when I'm in town visiting family and friends.
