  • My go to study spot is Stone Oven Bakery right down the street, but today I decided to give this PC location a try. I've been to the other location on Coventry and wasn't the biggest fan. I think it had to do with the atmosphere combined with what I ordered (iced Toddy). This location however was a whole different experience! The ambience is much calmer with lots of space and a better seating arrangement. Lots of outlets on along the bar, walls, and the long raised table in the front. The variety in seating creates enough private crevices for deep thinking sessions. I decided to go for a latte and bagel with cheddar chive cream cheese. The bagel reminded me of the bagels Rising Star serves, so I wonder if one inspired the other. Regardless, I enjoy both. The coffee was also very smooth, not sour, and delicious without the usual sugar I add to cover burnt bitterness. They also sell a variety of blends at this location. You can get their blend for $9 which I think is a steal. It's roasted locally and packaged fresh making it such a great value. Think about where your coffee comes from when you pull it off a grocery isle and how long it's been waiting to be brewed. TOO LONG. I decided to grab a bag of the Ethiopian blend for $15. There are many options that run from $9 to $16, so you can splurge or snag a great deal. This location beats Coventry by a long shot! I prefer the coffee here over Stone Oven next door, but am considering grabbing a sandwich from the bakery next time as I saw many customers doing the same (don't have "real food" here). Finally understand why people like Phoenix! I'm a fan.
