First to eat there, and first to review. I know, I know. No need for applause. I recognize my level of awesome :)
The truck itself is hard to miss. Sky-blue with colourful cartoon fries all over. I found it nearby my work and decided to take a shot. Large poutine with turkey. It came to a reasonable $10 and when I got it, I was a bit intimidated. It was freaking huge. Unfortunately, its size didn't reflect its flavour. The fries themselves were okay, though they had an odd taste, either because of the oil used, the seasoning or fries themselves. The curds were good and were piled on. Definitely no skimping there. The gravy was not real gravy. It was the powdered stuff. What a shame. The turkey was good and I gobbled it up. Did you get that reference? Huh huh? Did ya? Gobbled up the turkey? Jeez, nevermind. This is why I drink so much.
The folks that worked there were very friendly and were all smiles. I wish them luck, but to survive they have stand out in a food truck market that has blown up over a relatively short time in the city. Powdered gravy won't accomplish that.
