  • You get what you pay for- I dont believe their prices are too high. And if its true that they charge $7 more for the repair than downtown, then you should go ahead and drive all the way downtown and see how much you like that stress and fuel/ transit costs. Personally I think their service is awesome and the quality is unbelievable. Ill post a photo of my incredible designer boots- they were $400 but after only one season they looked terrible because a) Im very hard on my boots and b) I dropped something with bleach on them, it totally ruined the toe and c) the rubber soles were already looking terrible, and d) stains went all over the toes and up the leg almost to the knee. One week later and they literally look better than new. I appreciate it !!!!! Thanks for your help !!!!!! PS Also I should mention- Ive been a frequent customer and not only has he always helped me each day I show up by accident on a Sunday when technically they are closed, but also the owner has always been pleasant. Perhaps not 100% kissing your butt like a 5 star hotel concierge but - he has a different job than that, he's a hands-on skilled craftsman and he's super BUSY. Good for him! Support local businesses !
