This place is absolute garbage. I went in to get a flat fixed and the kid at the front counter said there wasn't a "tire tech" on site. It was him and another gentleman working there at the time, but none of them knew how to fix a flat. I asked them how much it would be to just get a new tire installed and he said there was nothing he could do because there wasn't a "tire tech" on site. How you work at a tire shop and not know how to fix or install a tire is beyond me. I proceeded to come back two days later because I wanted to give them a shot. I need a tire guy and am looking for some place to trust, but it's hard with the type of people these places hire. When I went back to get my flat fixed, the people were unprofessional and not very personable. The guy grabbed my tire and told me he couldn't fix my flat because it was going to pop trying to remove it from the rim. I then asked how much it would cost for a new tire and he found some right around the peace range I was looking for but he didn't have any in stock or in the warehouse. He said the only tire he can get was $50 more and that wasn't including installation, mounting, balancing, and tip. The tire I was looking for was a 255 40 18, and apparently is a rare tire. I went to a shop on Trop and Jones and they fixed my flat for $10 and ordered me a brand new one for $90. I won't be going back to Tire Works anymore and don't recommend them to anyone...well...this location to say the least. Maybe Tire Works isn't that bad of a place, but avoid the Blue Diamond location.
