  • I can't believe this stupid thing gets such high marks. I'm a farmer's market purist and this is a joke. Full of pretentious people and rude parents jamming their strollers into your heels. I've boycotted the market and doubt I'll every go back. Problems: Too much junk popping up - a bakery, a dog cookie booth, etc. Come-on - locally grown? I think not. So much for decreasing carbon emissions. I'm also trying to avoid processed food, not much difference from those scones and oreos. Locally grown plants? No, vendors even admit that they have them delivered from out of state to sell in Spring. Buyer beware! My personal pet peeve is that dogs are banned. Like there's no dogs on farms. This is just Yuppie Madison pretending they understand what a farm is - Not Really.
