  • This was my second time trying O Face donuts. The shop is cute and the staff is definitely friendly, but I haven't been overly impressed by their donuts. O face has a variety of donuts including vegan donuts, donuts with filling, and a few classic selections. On this visit we tried a classic raised chocolate donut, a key lime filled donut, earl grey old fashioned chocolate donut and a churro-ish donut. What I like most is that their ingredients are fresh and everything is made on site. What I disliked is that even though they claim to use fresh ingredients, the donuts had a stale texture. Most all the donuts lacked the sweetness you find in a classic donut shop, which wasn't terrible, but not good either. The chocolate was underwhelming. The key lime filling had great flavor but the rest of the donut was kind of bland. The churro-ish donut was pretty nice. Just sweet enough with a decent texture. *extra points given for being a local business. I'd recommend more sugar and butter or an outside source to spruce up that dough recipe.
