  • Took it in for an oil sensor unit to be replaced per the code given and an erratic oil pressure gauge. Pretty much new the sensor needed to be replaced. Get a call at around 2;30 telling me I need the oil sensor unit replaced. I said "yeah". Price for the unit quoted was $287.00" I okay-ed the service due to a short time window. Later I looked online for the part and found it for $110.00. They also charged $187.00 to install the unit. It is a small sensor. They did recommend a fuel filter which was only $44.00. So with a oil sensor unit replaced, fuel filter replaced and an oil change for a 1999 dodge ram 2500. $672.00. When a showed up I over heard the guy asking a parts place what was the "retail price". I would bet the mark up parts by 100%. Won't be going back.
