We've been dining at The Parlor for sometime. Last night, the dinner experience for the 5 of us started less than on par. We ordered dinner as usual. Two of us ordered Pizza and 3 of us ordered other dinners. The pizza arrived in about 15 minutes and to be polite, we were waiting for the others to get their dinners. In the meantime, the pizza was getting cold and the pizza eaters began to eat - expecting the others' dinners to arrive right away. That did not happen. After about 15 minutes, staff came over to apologize for the wait and told us that she was not charging for the pizza. They had had an issue in the kitchen. After another 10 minutes, the manager came over, comped the entire dinner and apologized. Eventually, the others' dinners arrived. The food, as usual, was excellent. The pesto pizza was great! The others enjoyed their food also. So - while there were problems with the order, the food was excellent and this is another 5 star experience because the Parlor did the right thing without hesitation and without being prompted by us to do the right thing.
