  • Vanessa is incredible!!! I am half black & half white so my big, brittle, curly hair has always been a hassle. I decided to try a keratin treatment while in town for work because I wear my hair straight most of the time (my curly hair is really unpredictable) but the flat iron was making my hair incredibly damaged and causing a ton of breakage. I am SO happy I found Vanessa. On top of being one of the most genuinely nice people ever, she is so skilled and knowledgeable in what she does and takes her time to make sure the best results are achieved. I also really appreciate how she encouraged open communication after the appointment to make certain I still was happy with my hair after my first post-keratin wash etc. (I had some damaged pieces that didn't smooth out as well as the rest of my hair and she had me come back in and retreated them at no cost to me.) She genuinely cares about her clients! It's been almost exactly a month, I have washed my hair about 5 times (using Pure Brazilian Anti Frizz Shampoo & Conditioner) and my hair is still drying almost completely straight. I now just blow dry it straight by brushing large sections using the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. From wash to dry and ready to go it takes me 30-45 mins. Where straightening alone took me at least an hour (not including washing and drying time). I will still use the flat iron if I want a super sleek look but it really isn't needed for day to day styling anymore :) I am so happy I discovered Vanessa!! Hopefully I can find someone as good as her in Florida!
