  • Thai Me Up is my most revered and favorite eatery to go to. I've taken many friends here and they have fallen in love with it in the same way. Located in an upcycled garage in the South Side, the atmosphere is creative and colorful, with super nice people running the place. I would believe I am considered a regular, and I am always greeted with a very warm hello and they are familiar with my usual order. It's always nice to have a jovial talk your waiter in such a casual place. The environment is always good-vibes, and they even open the garage door for refreshing air when it's nice out. I usually always order the green curry - spiciest level - because it is so darn good! Absolutely one of my favorite dishes ever. I recently tried their seasonal special, pumpkin curry, and I must say it was insanely rad! Creamy, spiced and salted with Thai flavors, and a bit sweet with the pumpkin. I'm a sucker for curries. Many of my friends who I have taken to Thai Me Up order the pineapple fried rice - a dish I have never tried, but is an absolute favorite among my friends. The Thai Iced coffee is delicious - be careful, you might drink it too fast it's so good! I also ordered the mango and sweet rice once which was very fun for a sweet snack - delicious; perfect for anyone who loves mangoes. The Z noodles and Pad Thai are very good as well. I definitely recommend the curries - I can't get enough of them! Thai Me Up will forever be a favorite. Thank you so much to all the kind souls running such a great restaurant!
