  • First off, I haven't stepped foot in a salon in over 5 years as I've been really picky since the last hairstylist I had. After reading the reviews, I decided on this salon. It was very easy to book an appointment through their online booking system, you can choose the level of stylist and services you would like to be done. I received confirmation of my booking and a reminder one day in advance before my appointment. The salon is located at Yonge/Sheppard, upstairs and entrance is between The Fry and the dry cleaners. It was very spacious and I was offered a drink menu and hot towel as soon as I walked in. Melissa, the stylist I chose was very friendly and had a very welcoming personality. She was patient and discussed what I would like done in terms of hair cut (length, style, etc) and coloring (what colours would work for me without lighting my hair, options if I did want to lighten my hair, etc). After consultation, she worked out the pricing before she did anything at all to my hair. I personally prefer knowing how much I'm paying without being surprised at the end; so that was a plus for me. I ended up going for a warm red tone and I love it. My hair doesn't feel damaged or dry at all. Plus, my hair is a lot lighter and has more shape to it. Thank you Melissa! Overall, I loved the experience I had here. Location is convenient and service here was wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend Melissa, she is passionate and loves what she does! P.S.
