  • I lived here for a year by myself, 25 year old girl, just moved out January of 2017. In all honesty, I had no issues living here. I am also not too hard to please. I mean, I accepted the fact that looking around, no I am not living in the nicest apartment complex so why complain about the little things? Here is my experience here 1. My neighbors upstairs were a bit loud on the weekends due to him having his kids every weekend, I addressed him personally because I finally met him while he was on his porch. A friendly encounter, and he apologized and said he would try to keep it down, cool no big deal. I wasn't going to go crazy about it or complain about it to the manager because hey...I live in an apartment, it happens. My neighbors next to me sometimes listened to their music pretty loud, and yes it got a bit frustrating but I accepted that I am not in some 5 star fancy apartment with thick walls and neighbors far apart from me. I was actually surprisingly quiet at night, I never had issues with crazy loud music or parties, even on the weekends. 2. I am a freak about bed bugs and roaches so upon move in I took the proper measures to ensure to the best of my ability that I didn't have that problem. Hands and knees scowering the carpet to make sure there were no bed bugs, roach pellets, diatomaceous earth on the carpet (I only had carpet in my room), etc...I am also a very clean person. With that said, I never had any bedbugs and maybe saw like 5 baby roaches the ENTIRE year I was living there. I even called for pest control (because again I am a freak about bugs) and EVERY time I called they came on the Tuesday following my call no problem. 3. Maintenance was NEVER an issue for me, I only had a few things I needed from them. My water heater started leaking and I called and they had it replaced within a few days, even dried out the carpet for me where it got wet. I had no appliance break, no ac issues, no water issues, nothing. Garbage disposal had something stuck in it and he came and even fixed that for me. 4. Managers were great from day one. I want to say they had a manager change while I was there, because after about 5 months or so I never saw the 2 girls again that I initially dealt with. Not sure though. But those 2 were great, and so were the last 2 that I moved out with. Chris specifically was phenomenal. When it was getting close to me moving out I had LOTS of questions to ensure that I received my deposit back and did everything right. Im sure he was sick of me, but I am very detailed and wanted to ensure nothing was left undone. He answered ALL of my questions and was very nice. He also offered to do a PRE walk through with me to look at my apartment before I started cleaning to let me know what they would be looking for. Now of course I am still scared that I wont get my deposit back because some apartments will screw you over and some reviews on here have stated that "They lie to you and keep your deposit" Well in my situation they did not keep my deposit. I scrubbed my apartment top to bottom and it looked PRISTINE. I had really no holes in my walls but still covered the little ones up even though he told me that wasnt necessary. Again, I am very detailed. Final walk through came and I saw him write that everything was in good condition and there would be no reason not to get my deposit back. I asked for a copy and gave him my keys. I was in direct communication with Chris via email and phone for probably 2 months regarding my move out. He was very very helpful. He said they need 14 days to have that deposit check in the mail and low and behold I received my deposit check on Feb 15th. Minus the last 1 1/2 water bills I owed and the $25 key I lost, it was all there. So whoever states that Chris is horrible or doesnt give back your deposit, I would take a second look at what maybe you could've done better on your end, because in my experience everything went really smoothly and he was extremely communicative and helpful. 5. If I were to have a complaint, only thing would be the tenants in that apartment apparently don't care about having a decent looking place to live. Leaving garbage in the parking lot was a big pet peeve of mine, but I also HATE littering when it happens anywhere. So that was pretty annoying, and I also didnt pay for a covered parking spot, no big deal, and my car got dinged up just a little bit by people not parking correctly, too close, or not being careful about opening their door, but nothing major, just annpying Sorry for the long review, I hope this helps someone in their decision because this place does have some bad reviews, but again, I wasnt expecting much from this apartment, because again, when you look around you, no it isn't the nicest place, but it was what I made it.(They did repaint the doors and repave the parking lot which was nice) I made it my home for a year and it is what I needed for that time and really dont have negative feedback. It was great
