Damn I'm not the only one who thinks the customer service is complete trash? Harsh? I don't think so and that's putting it lightly. I do my research every time before stepping into a Best Buy as you should to. Most of the time. They have no clue. And they ask someone else why is that? Or do I always get the trainee?
Stepped into the Best Buy to ask about my laptop because of the Battery, I know it's the Battery and the Geek Squad Guy was looking for a price, and not telling him the make of the laptop or anything (it was a Dell) he looks through a binder, for a price, asks another geek squad guy, then hey both look at the binder, then he says be right back, comes back then he says it's going to be $250 LMAO... I laughed. I told him my laptop was $450 2 years ago so i told him the battery on the site is $49 and I started talking to another Geek Squad guy and he told me to check online and buy it from a third party if I don't want to pay $250. Lol okay
Went on Amazon and got the Battery for $50
The knowledge of battery replacement for laptops was like an unknown for them...
Please NOTE: bestbuy website sells laptop batteries, but they drop ship from other 3rd party sites just like amazon but in store they don't deal with 3rd party sites.
