While the clothes are nice by overpriced, their return policy is a lie! They say you can return items with the receipt, tag, and within 30 days. I bought a Diane Von Furstenberg dress for $230 to wear to my friend's wedding. I was reluctant and the cashier told me I can return it if I have any problems. Well, I did. I went home and tried it on again for my mom and boyfriend to see. They noticed a stain on it. It was also very wrinkled and an iron wouldn't straighten it. I shouldn't have to dry clean a $230 dress before I ever wear it. I just wore an old dress I had worn to another wedding and took the uberly expensive dress to be returned 3 days later. The manager told me he couldn't refund me because there is supposed to be a red tag on the bottom of it. I never saw it but he showed me on another item. It's this big thick plastic thing that was definitely not on it when I originally tried on the dress in the store. Wouldn't the clerk have notified me as well as I was hesitant to buy the dress initially? They called me the next day when I was unhappy with the answer to tell me the same thing. Now I am an extremely unhappy, $230 dollars in the whole with a shitty dress I will probably never wear. Worst service ever! I'm definitely disputing the charge with AMEX as they couldn't hold true to their public policy. Companies cannot hide their policies from consumers! It is unjust and should be punishable by the law! If you buy something nice, buy it from a legit store like Nordstrom NOT TJ MAXX! This place is way too expensive for what it is - a Ross knock off.
