  • I booked these guys the day before I planned to move. The job was to unload a uhaul and mostly carry the large items up one-two flights of stairs. The owner was nice, but there was a miscommunication in our initial phone conversation about the address. They ended up going to a different house. Basically the first guy showed up an hour before the other. I felt the first guy was slow, lazy, inefficient, and took frequent breaks. He did pick up speed once the second mover came. They carried each large item up 1-2 flights of stairs efficiently, and without damages. The second mover was efficient and courteous. He worked much better by himself than the other one did. I was a little disappointed to hear that they were having a conversation about how the second one wasn't required to stay because he came to the wrong place. My brother overhead their conversation, and it was very unprofessional. The overall experience was OKAY. I think this experience was a fluke, due to the miscommunication with the owner. It seems like overall they get pretty good ratings. But, I believe businesses have one chance at a first impression, and I probably will choose another company when it's time to move again. ***FOLLOW-UP TO THE GENERAL MANAGER*** Hi, and thank-you for your response. I just wanted to point a couple things out. When I spoke to you over the phone, you said that if I arrived early, I can call you and there would be no problem with you guys getting there early. The initial appointment was at 2, and your first guy arrived at 2:30 (due to the fact that he went to the wrong house). So he was about 25 minutes away, which justifies the 2:30 arrival time. This was acceptable. Your other guy arrived at 3:30, which if the house was 25 minutes away from mine, that means he was over an hour late. So that was an issue. In the mean time, my brother and I unloaded a lot more than expected. Like I said, they did do a good job carrying the stuff upstairs, and the 2nd guy did a pretty decent job by himself... but overall, I had higher expectations. And if you have a problem with a customer or a situation, you don't talk and complain about it in the customer's house. Just an opinion.
