I have seen several performances at this venue and a number of high school programs as my children attend Chandler High. It is one of the worst I've been to. The seats are small and uncomfortable. Heaven forbid you have to get up during the performance and you don't have an aisle seat. You are forced to make your neighbors stand up to let you out. And still you risk stepping on their feet as there is so little pitch between rows. I've seen wider spaces between seats on airplanes. To add to the discomfort is the fact that they never seem to set the temperature at a comfortable level. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, the climate control is always set at about five degrees above what is comfortable for most people and there is hardly any airflow through the theater. Pack 1000 adults into the venue and you can hardly breathe. I attended the "Pulse" performance today given by Dance Loft. We were a few minutes late because we had to park so far away and the auditorium was pitch dark when we entered. It's a good thing for flashlights built into cell phones because the elderly ushers were not much help at all. Tickets to most events at this venue are sold through Ticketmaster, the foulest of ticket processors with their poor service and ridiculous service fees. Sorry, I just don't have many nice things to say about this venue.
