  • The best Japanese restaurant in Madison, in my opinion. I have spent many years in Japan and I believe it is the most authentic of the Japanese restaurants around here. I believe a couple of the sushi chefs are actually Japanese as well, which helps the sushi quality tremendously. The service here has always been great. Much better than the nearby Takara where I feel awkward with the waitresses/waiters. It's not the cheapest meal option, but there are a lot of things on the menu that really is not expensive at all. The food is delicious and I always look forward to my visit there. Highly recommended!
