Just had dinner at the Beach Cafe. The staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. I got the Cajun Pasta. The pasta was overcooked but it was strangely comforting, like the kind of pasta you have a little kid, and don't care what al dente is. The spicy tomato sauce had just the right amount of heat, and was not too heavy. The chicken in the dish was fine, as was the sausage. It reminded me of kielbasa that was cut real thin, but the flavor mixed really well. I loved the shrimp, it was cooked perfectly.
My boyfriend ordered the tofu stir fry. He told me the tofu was very good, but the bok choy lacked flavor.
It was an ok dinner. Nothing too fancy, but perfectly enjoyable at the same time
