| - I've been to Lure three times. The first time - not so great, but they had just opened so I could understand. I was not happy with the tacos I got - I have completely forgotten which kind I ordered but they had some kind of spice on them that was very prominent and ruined the taste. The second time, MUCH better. We went on a Wednesday when they had 25 cent oysters on the half shell and half priced martinis and flatbreads. Everything was perfect. The flat bread with the braised short rib, fried shallots - Mmm mm!! To die for, and at half price, win!! Oysters were nice and fresh, delicious - I will say that they need to learn how to shuck the oysters, the muscle was attached to almost all of them, not good.
We went for our third time this morning for their Sunday brunch and we were so satisfied. For $17 they had a full buffet with fresh seafood (shrimp, crab legs, oysters), made to order omelets, a bloody mary bar, and more. Plus $10 bottomless mimosas that were made with the perfect champagne to OJ ratio so you could actually get a nice buzz. :)
Also had a very nice waitress, I wish I remembered her name (maybe it's the mimosas) but she was very nice - great waiters/waitresses always add to the experience. A+ in my book. They did have a DJ, for a Sunday brunch...cool with me but may not be for others.
