| - Appt started w/a bulb replacement on my 09 Traverse. Was told several times that the cost would be between $115-$135 because "they have to take the front end off" to access the headlight bulbs. I normally don't stay when my vehicle is serviced, but this time I did. After dosing off, I woke to see the tech working on my care actually going through the wheel well to replace the bulb. I asked the service advisor, and she says "No, he they had to take the front end off." When I explained, I actually watched him swap out the bulb going through the wheel well, now she says she has to check. Then comes back and says, yes he went through the wheel well so instead of $115, I'm only going to be charged $92. So I asked, why so much. She explained that Tim Lally can charge up to .8 of an hour for the job, even though it only took 10 mins. So the per hour rate is 115. 80% is $92. That was a scam, and I don't appreciate being lied to. I can only image the stories that are being told to other customers about their service repairs. In June, I had shocks/struts replaced, and a rack/pinion leak repaired for random extreme tightness in my steering wheel. When I made my appt online, I listed the tightness was still there. While talking to the service advisor, she said that they still hear noises from the shocks/struts and rack/pinion. She didn't know why they didn't do strut mounts when my car was in the first time. Then she said (about the rack/pinion) that it was still safe to drive. The wheel randomly locks up when I'm pulling in/out of parking spots or just backing out the driveway, but its safe? Not only am I not satisfied with my service, I'm also disturbed. I was lied to in my face about what I was being charged for, and now after paying over $2000 in the last 60 days to find out the repairs I was told were needed, have not even fixed my problems. At the end of the day, I just would like my car fixed. Now I have another appt Aug 3rd to "re-repair" both shocks/struts and rack/pinion, and I'm scared to death to leave my car there.
